Warranty Information

GENERAL WARRANTY INFORMATION

  • All new & refurbished appliances will have a 90 day warranty as follows: The first 30 days we cover parts and labor.  The following 60 days we cover all labor and the customer is responsible for parts.

  • Environmental issues such as electrical, water, etc. is not covered under warranty

  • Icemakers are covered on scratch and dent items only, used icemakers are not covered but can be fixed for the cost of parts and labor.

  • If an appliance has an issue within the warranty period that we cannot fix then a replacement will be offered at the same value.  If replacement item is not sufficient, then refund of the item will be offered.

  • Customers working on the appliance during the warranty period will void the warranty.

  • Improper installation can void the warranty.

  • We warranty appliances only within a 30 mile radius of our warehouse.  If you are further, additional fees will be applied and must be prepaid before a service call is scheduled.

LIFETIME WARRANTY OPTION

To Qualify:

  • Value of item must be $400 or higher ($800 and higher if set)

At Purchase:

  • Cost of the warranty will be 50% of the cost of the purchase price in addition to the purchase of the item.

  • No promotional discounts can qualify while taking advantage of the warranty

  • Condition pictures will be taken upon purchase. Appliance must stay in the same physical shape for duration of warranty (Normal wear and tear)

Warranty Instructions:

  • Cannot be transferred to another person

  • Must keep a copy of warranty sheet

  • Must keep appliances clean for performance

  • When an issue occurs please contact the store by phone during normal business hours and we will get out to the house within one week.

  • If the machine is deemed unfixable, the machine will be replaced within one week of service call with the same model of the machine or better (New or Certified Used). The only cost to the customer will be a delivery fee and this cost only kicks in after 5 years of purchase.

  • Warranty valid for the life that you own the appliance and The Plug Appliances is in business and operating under current ownership.

  • You have 2 moves (appliance relocations of warranty items only) included in your purchase.  Any additional moves or additional appliances not covered under the lifetime warranty will be charged a fee for the relocation.

Warranty Disqualifications:

  • Damage to the machine that is not represented on condition pictures

  • Lack of cleaning appliances that result in the appliance not working.

  • Pests being present in the house (mice and roaches mainly)

  • If original homeowner(spouse) or purchaser of the warranty is not present at time of service to confirm that it has not been transferred

  • If homeowner tries to fix the appliance themselves

  • If homeowner moves and does not contact The Plug for proper handling and installation of the appliance from one location to the next.

MONTHLY EXTENDED WARRANTY OPTION

To Qualify:

  • Must send in condition pictures of appliances to get approved for program and value will be assessed by The Plug at time of program entry

  • All ages and types of appliances (refrigerator, stoves, washers, dryers and dishwashers) qualify

Warranty Instructions:

  • Set up/Administration fee for program is $30

  • Monthly service fee of $10 (add $10 for every 2 appliances covered – Double the price for premium appliances…$400 and up)

  • 60 days must pass before first claim.

  • If service call is needed within the first year of program then a $50 deductible will be assessed before service is scheduled, after the one year then no deductible

  • If appliance cannot be fixed and within the one year timeframe of originating on the program then you will receive $25 back of your deductible and 10% off your purchase at the store. 1-2 years = 20% 2-3years = 50%, 3+ years = 100% off of same value

  • Cannot be transferred to another person

  • Must keep appliances clean for performance

  • When an issue occurs, please contact the store by phone during normal business hours and we will get out to the house within one week.

  • Issues from machine stemming from improper moving and installation (Customer can pay us to come out and move/install their appliances professionally)
